GARY FINEOUT
Contributor Gary Fineout may be the newest name on our contributing editors’ roster, but he is hardly new to reporting or the legislative arenas. Prior to forming TallahasseeReporters.com with fellow scribe (and wife) Christine Sexton last year, Gary was the Tallahassee correspondent for the Miami Herald, and before that, a reporter for the Tallahassee Democrat, New York Times Regional Newspapers, and Daytona Beach News-Journal. He contributes to The New York Times, Associated Press, and other media in addition to Florida Underwriter. Our “Man in Tallahassee,” Fineout knows his way around the Capitol better than any of us. Every month, he provides valuable insight into the workings (or non-workings) of our elected officials and regulators. Widely acknowledged as a first-rate writer and analyst, he has become our primary reporter for news on the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund and Citizens Property Insurance Corp. He may be contacted at 850-251-2317; gfineout@hotmail.com.

PHIL GALEWITZ
Contributor Phil Galewitz has been a steady contributor to Florida Underwriter for over seven years. Although his primary focus is on healthcare issues, his broad knowledge of all things insurance often makes him the go-to person for Market Watch articles and general interest stories.

He is a member of the Association of Health Care Journalist's board of directors and editor of its quarterly newsletter, HealthBeat. SHARON K. MOORHEAD
Contributor Sharon Moorhead is probably the contributing editor most familiar to many of our readers. She has been an integral part of Florida Underwriter since 1999, working with three different editors. In addition to being the “institutional memory” of the magazine, she also has the task of updating the Meetings Calendar in each issue, and stays in contact with many agent and industry groups via phone and e-mail.
In the past year, she has branched out and developed a real knack for the popular Q&A features. Her impressive portfolio of Q&A columns includes discussions with a variety of industry people, regulators, and leaders of consumer and business groups.
Moorhead lives in St. Petersburg, where in addition to her work with Florida Underwriter, she does copywriting, editing, and resume writing for other clients.
